How to Upload Copyright-Free Videos on TikTok (Step-by-Step Editing Method)
Assalamu Alaikum! I hope you’re all doing well. In today’s video, I explained a complete method to upload copyright-free videos on TikTok, whether you are using the Creator Rewards Program or doing normal uploads.
The best part? You can take videos from platforms like Facebook, edit them properly, and upload them on TikTok without facing copyright strikes—if you do it the right way.
Step 1: Download the Original Video from Facebook
First, I selected a video from Facebook and copied its link. Then:
- Open Google
- Search for FB Downloader or Video Downloader
- Paste the copied Facebook video link
- Click on Download
You might see ads—just close them. Once the options appear, download the video in HD quality.
Recommended Tools:
Step 2: Import Video into Editing App (InShot / CapCut)
After downloading, open your editing app like InShot or CapCut. The process is almost the same in both apps.
- Import the video
- Change the aspect ratio to TikTok (9:16)
- Adjust the position slightly to fit the frame
If needed, click on Background and set it to white or any neutral color.
Step 3: Change Video Speed & Duration
Now increase the speed slightly:
- Set speed to 1.2x or 1.3x
- This helps avoid copyright detection
If your video is long, don’t worry. Adding cuts will only make it shorter, not longer. Just keep the main, interesting parts.
Step 4: Add Engaging Text Using ChatGPT
Now comes an important part—text overlays.
Go to ChatGPT and give it a prompt like:
“Give me viral TikTok captions for a MrBeast-style explosion test video.”
Example text I used:
- “Explosion Proof Car”
- Below text: “Wait Till End 😱🔥”
You can adjust font style, size, and position according to your preference.
Step 5: Color Grading & Visual Adjustments
Even though it’s not mandatory, a little color grading makes the video more engaging:
- Increase brightness slightly
- Adjust shadows
- Add a little sharpness
This gives life to the video and improves watch time.
Step 6: Use Slow Motion on Key Moments
At important moments (like explosions or impact scenes):
- Split the clip
- Reduce speed to 0.5x
- Apply smooth slow-motion
Turn off the original sound while editing to avoid audio copyright issues.
Step 7: Modify Everything to Avoid Copyright
By now, you have:
- Changed the frame
- Adjusted speed
- Added cuts
- Changed background
- Added new text
This level of modification ensures your video does not match the original creator’s content.
Remember: Editing time is usually 5–10 minutes per video once you get used to it.
Step 8: Extract Audio from the Edited Video
Now go to:
- Audio → Extract Audio from Video
This adds a fresh audio layer based on your edited video instead of the original source.
Step 9: Export Settings (Very Important)
Always export your TikTok videos using these settings:
- Resolution: 1080p
- Frame Rate: 30 FPS
No need to increase file size unnecessarily.
Step 10: Create Viral Title & Hashtags for TikTok
Again, use ChatGPT to generate titles and hashtags.
Example titles:
- Normal Car vs Explosion Proof Car
- MrBeast Style Car Explosion Experiment
Use only 6–7 relevant hashtags. Don’t overuse hashtags.
Example hashtags:
#MrBeastStyle #CarExperiment #ExplosionTest #ViralVideo #TikTokTrends
Real Results & Analytics
I showed real analytics in the video:
- Videos uploaded within hours started getting views
- Some videos reached hundreds of likes
- New followers came organically
- Videos stayed on For You Page
Simple title, limited hashtags, and good editing—that’s the formula.
